After his time in the logistics division of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force, Steve began his civilian career at Tompkins Community Bank. He rose to be a Jr. Credit Analyst, reviewing calculations and risks for bank loan applications before sidestepping into a role as a medical secretary for an endocrinologist. Discovering his interest in the legal world, he surmised that the cleanest solution to fixing many broken things in this world is really through the law. Combining his banking knowledge with legal know-how, he became a mortgage and foreclosure paralegal for Leopold & Associates in New York and then a litigation paralegal for Russell Krafft & Gruber in Lancaster.

A massive Steve Rogers fan, he lives by the Captain America motto, “Compromise where you can, and where you can’t, don’t. Even if everyone is telling you that something wrong is something right. Even if the whole world is telling you to move, it is your duty to plant yourself like a tree, look them in the eye, and say ‘No, you move.”

Steve has fond memories of learning morse code on his grandfather’s ham radio and watching him dissect and reassemble early computers. A gamer himself, he created and ran a worldwide Pokémon Go chat called “24/7 Raiders” – the first of its kind to connect players across the world together for a raid at any hour of the day. A glutton for punishment, though, he somehow remains a bleeds-blue, brainwashed-from-birth Yankee fan in Central Pennsylvania. We’re working on that.
